Tourists going to Mahabaleshwar had to suffer as they were stuck in long traffic jams due to consecutive holidays and road work in the Mahabaleshwar area. Tourists expressed their displeasure due to heavy traffic jams on Mahabaleshwar road.

Mahabaleshwar is known everywhere as the paradise of Maharashtra. Mahabaleshwar is the first choice of tourists to see the wonderful natural beauty. Tourists had crowded Mahabaleshwar due to the three consecutive days of holidays. As the road work is going on between Mahabaleshwar and Kshetra Mahabaleshwar, the traffic on this route has been diverted via Lingamala. The road through Lingamala is very narrow and one-way. Hence, there is a traffic jam on this road.

Tourists had to stand in long traffic jams & one place for one to two hours. Queues of vehicles were seen on both sides of this road since morning. The tourists have demanded that the administration should find a suitable solution to this traffic jam and give relief to the tourists.
