Traffic changes announced on Kharadi Bypass to Shikrapur route ; Check details

Pune: Pune Rural Police have issued traffic changes on Kharadi Bypass to Shikrapur route for December 31, 2023 & January 1, 2024 ahead of Perne Jayastambha salutation ceremony.
As per information from the Pune Rural Police, “Traffic has been changed on December 31 and January 1 in view of the Perne Jayastambha salutation ceremony. Citizens along with motorists should use alternative routes.”
Kharadi Bypass to Shikrapur route is going to be closed completely for all kinds of vehicular traffic & vehicles on December 31 & January 1. Following are the alternate routes:
· Apart from the people going for the Jayastambha salutation ceremony, vehicular traffic from Chakan to Shikrapur & Shikrapur to Chakan will be closed for all kinds of vehicles.
· Vehicles coming from Ahmednagar & going towards Pune & Mumbai must enter Pune from the Shirur to Hadapsar route (Shirur – Nhavare Phata – Nhavare – Pargaon – Choufula – Yavat – Hadapsar).
· Vehicles going from Pune, towards Ahmednagar, must enter Ahmednagar from Kharadi Bypass to Shirur route (Kharadi Bypass – Hadapsar – Pune Solapur Highway Road – Chaufula – Kedgaon – Nhavare – Shirur).
· Heavy vehicles coming from Solapur Road & going towards Alandi & Chakan must use the Hadapsar to Vishrantwadi route (Hadapsar – Magarpatta – Kharadi Bypass – Vishrantwadi).
· Heavy vehicles coming from Mumbai & going towards Ahmednagar must use the Vadgaon to AlePhata route (Vadgaon – Maval – Chakan – Khed – Manchar – Narayangaon – Ale Phata).
· Light vehicles like cars, jeeps, etc coming from Mumbai & going towards Ahmednagar must use Vadgaon to Shirur route (Vadgaon – Maval – Chakan – Khed – Pabal – Shirur).
