PUNE: The traffic arrangements between Hadapsar and Sasanenagar have been modified to ensure that the processions of mandals are not disrupted.

The Deputy Commissioner of Traffic Police, Vijaykumar Magar, has appealed to citizens, including mandal workers, to cooperate with the police by using alternative routes to avoid hindrances in the immersion processions.

As per the information provided, the Sasanenagar main road has been closed from the Kalepdal underground route. Traffic coming from Kalepdal Underground Road-Samruddhi Society, Ravi Park Road to Handewadi Road, Sasanenagar Underground Road, Kalepdal to Navnath Chowk, Ganapati Temple, and D. Mart to Sasanenagar Main Road has been prohibited.

The recommended alternative route is via Kalepadal, Tukaidarshan, Gondhalenagar, and Hadapsar Gadital. Additionally, the road leading to Sasanenagar main road from Rasta (Sasanenagar underground route) has been closed, and the alternative route is via Sasanenagar underground route Syednagar, Handewadi road, Ravi Park road to Kalepdal underground route.

The New English School D.P. road leading to Sasanenagar main road from Rasta (Sasanenagar underground route) has been closed, hence the alternative route: Sasanenagar underground route Syednagar, Handewadi road, Ravi Park road to Kalepdal underground route. One should use the Vaiduvadi and Ramtekdi routes from the Sasanenagar underground route.

Traffic from Hadapsar to Sasanenagar via the Syednagar route will be diverted by SBI. It has been diverted from D-Mart Road, close to the bank.
