Traffic Diversion on Pune University Road , Check Details
Pune Traffic Police have issued traffic diversions ahead of Manoj Jarange Patil’s Maratha Aarakshan Morcha on January 23 & 24 2024.
As per information from Pune Traffic Police, Manoj Jarange Patil’s Maratha Aarakshan Morcha will take place. On January 23, it will move from Ranjangaon after which it will move to Chokhidani, Kharadi via Koregaon Bhima route. On 24/01/2024, the morcha will move from Chokhidani, Kharadi via Pimpri Chinchwad & will make a stop at Lonavala.
As a large number of people will participate in Manoj Jarange Patil’s morcha, there is a possibility of traffic congestion on the morcha routes and surrounding areas.
Therefore, it is necessary to change the traffic in the area in order to keep the traffic safe & smooth.
For this, changes in traffic on Nagar Road, on a temporary basis, are being made as follows:
- All types of vehicles from Mumbai – Pune Expressway, Kolhapur & Satara, going towards Ahmednagar, will proceed via Katraj – Khadi Machine Chowk – Mantarwadi Phata – Kedgaon Chauphula via Solapur Road – Navhre – Shirur.
- All types of vehicles going to Ahmednagar via Wagholi, Lonikand will go from Shirur to Ahmednagar via Kedgaon Chauphula – Navhre.
- All types of vehicles going to Ahmednagar from Pune city will take the right turn at Kharadi Bypass to Magarpatta Chowk – Left turn at Solapur Road & go from Yawat towards Kedgaon Chauphula – Navhre – Shirur.
On 23/01/2024, Maratha Aarakshan Morcha will stay in Chokhidani, Kharadi area and proceed towards Lonavala from Pimpri Chinchwad on 24/01/2024.
Accordingly, traffic on 24/01/2024 will be diverted as follows:
- Traffic of all types of vehicles coming from Ahmednagar to Pune city will be diverted to Solapur Road via Kesnand – Theur from Theur Phata (Lonikand).
- Vehicles in the Wagholi area will go from Wagholi – Avhalwadi – Manjari Khurd – Manjari Budruk – Keshavnagar – Mundhwa Chowk.
- All types of vehicular traffic going to Ahmednagar from Pune city will go towards Ahmednagar via Chandrama Chowk, Alandi Road Junction, Vishrantwadi, Dhanori, Lohegaon, Wagholi.
The Pune Traffic Police is appealing to motorists to cooperate with the traffic police by adopting the above-mentioned traffic changes.
