Tragic Incident : Missing IT Engineer’s Body Found Days Later On Pune Nashik Highway

PUNE: A distressing incident has recently emerged, revealing the grim fate of an IT Engineer who had been unaccounted for over the past 8–10 days. Tragically, he was discovered murdered in Khed Taluka, sending shockwaves through the community. The victim, identified as Saurabh Nandlal Patil and originally hailing from Shirdi in Ahmednagar district, was employed at a software company.

Authorities stumbled upon the grim scene as Saurabh’s decomposing remains were found n the Khed area of Pune district. An ensuing investigation led to the recovery of his two-wheeler in Holewadi village, Khed. The Khed police station swiftly registered a murder case after Assistant Police Inspector Birudev Kabugade received a formal complaint.

The timeline of events reveals that Saurabh had been missing since July 28, prompting his relative Sandeep Sonawane to report his disappearance to Hinjewadi police. The unsettling discovery of the bike’s keys near a nearby well eventually culminated in the heart-wrenching finding of Saurabh’s body in a field close to Sandbhorwadi.

In response to this chilling incident, Khed police have assembled a dedicated team to delve into the circumstances surrounding Saurabh Patil’s tragic demise. The investigation into this suspicious and deeply unfortunate loss of life is now underway.
