According to the police, the ambulance, reportedly driven at high speed, lost control and struck three motorcycles from behind, dragging one of them for nearly 50 metres before crashing into a nearby traffic police booth. The impact was so severe that the Dio scooter, on which the victims were riding, was crushed.
