Trains To Run Late As Gate Between Neera – Lonand on Pune Satara Railway Line Will Remain Closed For Two Days

The rail gate between Neera & Lonand railway stations, on Pune – Satara Railway Line, will remain closed for the next 2 days due to track related work.

As per further information provided by Dr Ramdas Bhise, Divisional Commercial Manager (DCM) And PRO, Pune Railways, the road will be closed for traffic from September 29th 8:00 am to October 1st 8:00 am due to railway track doubling work related to railway track number 36 at railway km 88/4-5 between Nira – Lonand railway stations on Pune – Satara railway line.

Just like railway gate being closed due to track work, recently, the Railway division had announced that various technical works will be carried out in the Pune section at Patas station on the Pune – Daund railway line, so on September 28, Train No. 22943 Daund – Indore Express will depart from Daund station two hours and thirty minutes late than the regular departure time of 14:00  i.e. at 16:30.

During the block period, Train No. 11301/11302 Mumbai – Bengaluru – Mumbai Udyan Express, Train No. 11078 Jammu Tawi – Pune Jhelum Express, Train No. 16340 Nagercoil – Mumbai Express and Train No. 12780 Hazrat Nizamuddin – Vasco Goa Express will run with some delay on Pune section.

Hence, the Railway division has appealed to all vehicle commuters on the route to please take a note of the rail gate being closed.
