PUNE:  A fire occurred in two coaches of the Patalkot Express (14624) travelling from Firozpur in Punjab to Seoni in Madhya Pradesh near Bhadai railway station of Malpura Police Station in Agra, as reported by a news agency.

According to the information received, smoke was observed on the Patalkot Express train between Agra and Dholpur. The smoke was noticed in the GS coach. The train was promptly halted and the affected coaches was detached. No injuries were reported. The express train operates between Firozpur Cantonment in Punjab and Seoni in Madhya Pradesh.

The fire broke out in the fourth coach, shortly after the train departed from Agra station at 3:45 pm, according to a railway source. The cause of the fire is currently unknown. The affected coach has been detached from the train, as confirmed by the source.
