An area of 15,000 square feet was cleared during the action. Further demolitions in the Kharadi area are scheduled for Monday, with more actions to follow.
This operation was carried out under the guidance of Superintendent Engineer Shridhar Yevlekar and Executive Engineer Ajit Surve, with Junior Engineer Rajendra Funde, Mangesh Gaikwad, Yogesh Gurav and Engineer Girish Karale leading the team.
They utilized two JCBs, three breakers, one gas cutter, and ten laborers for the demolition. A robust police presence ensured the action proceeded smoothly.
The Pune Municipal Corporation urges citizens to refrain from purchasing houses in such unauthorized constructions.
