Pune: On October 28, Saturday, 25 bags of onions were stolen by unidentified individuals from two local farmers in Pargaon, Ambegaon. The incident occurred at Dhoble Mala, where the farmers had stored the onions for sale.

As per the information provided, Khandu Sadu Dhoble and Ajit Babaji Dhoble, both residents and farmers in Pargaon, had selected ten and fifteen bags of onions respectively from a storage barrack near their residences. They intended to send the onions to the market for sale. However, thieves managed to steal all the bags, resulting in a financial loss estimated at around 25 thousand and 30 thousand rupees respectively. The farmers promptly reported the thefts to the Pargaon police station, launching a formal complaint.

The case is currently being investigated by Pargaon Police Station leading the efforts to apprehend the culprits and recover the stolen onions.
