The video shows Jaiswal sitting inside his cab when a group of people — believed to be the customers who booked the ride — approached him and confronted him over the delay. Another passenger was already inside the vehicle when the confrontation began.
As tensions rose, the group began recording the driver, questioning him about his actions and demanding an apology. They also asked for his name and documented his vehicle number. The situation escalated quickly, with the group forcing the driver to apologise. As the argument intensified, the video shows the passengers physically assaulting and harassing Jaiswal on the roadside. As of now, there is no confirmed information on whether the local police have intervened or taken cognizance of the incident.
This case comes amid a series of troubling events in Maharashtra where individuals have reportedly been harassed for not speaking Marathi, raising broader concerns about regional tensions and growing instances of public harassment.
