UPSC Cancels Provisional Candidature of IAS Officer Puja Khedkar, Barred From Future Exams
Centre discharges Puja Khedkar from Indian Administrative Service with immediate effect
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) announced on Wednesday that it has revoked the provisional candidature of Puja Khedkar, an IAS officer under scrutiny for allegations of cheating and forgery. Following a thorough review, the UPSC determined that Khedkar had violated the rules governing the Civil Services Examination (CSE)-2022.
As a result, her provisional candidature for the CSE-2022 has been nullified, and she has been permanently barred from participating in any future UPSC exams or selections. The government issued a statement confirming these actions, emphasizing that Khedkar’s actions were in direct contravention of examination regulations.
