A recent incident has caught the attention of netizens when a customer, Ravi Handa, discovered multiple fake Domino’s Pizza outlets on the Swiggy platform.

These fraudulent outlets sported names slightly altered from the original, such as “Domino Pizza” or “Domino’s 2.0,” aiming to deceive customers into thinking they were placing orders from the authentic Domino’s Pizza.

Ravi Handa took to social media to share a screenshot of these deceptive outlets, questioning Swiggy’s responsibility in allowing such fake stores to operate unchecked.

Expressing concern, he also questioned why Domino’s was not taking a stand against these copycat establishments.

In his post, Ravi highlighted the severity of the situation by revealing that someone close to him had fallen victim to the scam. He emphasized the need for action against such fraudulent practices and raised questions about trademark violations.

Swiggy responded to the post, expressing a desire to investigate the matter.

They requested Ravi to share his pincode privately for a thorough check. The post has gained significant traction, garnering nearly 250,000 views and over 700 likes since its sharing.

Netizens have joined the conversation, sharing a variety of reactions. Some users pointed out that this issue is not exclusive to Swiggy, as Zomato also reportedly features similar fake outlets on its platform.

Amidst the responses, one user emphasized the importance of common sense in avoiding such fraudulent activities.
