Vande Bharat Express Solapur to Mumbai train to run via Pune

Pune citizens will now get a chance to travel by Vande Bharat train. The Solapur-Mumbai connecting Pune, Vande Bharat Express will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 10.

From Pune Railway Station, the Vande Bharat Express would travel on two different routes: Pune-Sindarabad and Solapur-Mumbai. On February 10 at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminal, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Solapur Vande Bharat Express. The Sainagar Shirdi Express will also be launched by the prime minister at the same time. This train would leave Solapur station around 3 PM in the direction of Mumbai.
This railway will run at a speed of 110 kmph on the Mumbai to Solapur route and will pass through Pune.

Vande Bharat Express will depart from Solapur at 6:05 AM. It will arrive in Pune at 9 o’clock and will reach Mumbai at 12:30 PM. At 4:10 PM on the same day the  Express will leave from Mumbai and reach Pune at 7.30 PM and then Solapur at 10.40 PM. 

“Vande Bharat express will be started soon. It will benefit the Pune citizens. This service will be available six days a week. Trains will not run from Mumbai on Wednesday and from Solapur on Thursday,” said Manoj Jhawar, the public relations officer for Central Railway’s Pune Division.
