Detailed Discussion Between Union Minister Muralidhar Mohol and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw
Union Minister Muralidhar Mohol held a detailed discussion with Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw to resolve various pending issues related to the Pune Railway Division. There was a positive discussion on initiating Vande Bharat trains from Pune, addressing long-pending issues that have been unresolved for years. Notably, Vaishnaw provided detailed information on a map regarding the resolution of these issues.
Several railway matters in Pune and Western Maharashtra have been pending for years. To expedite their resolution, Minister Mohol has taken the initiative. With the positive outlook shown by the Railway Minister, these issues are expected to be resolved soon.

Sharing details, Minister Mohol said, “There was an extensive discussion on topics such as the Pune-Delhi Vande Bharat Sleeper Train, expansion of the Pune-Lonavala railway route, Pune-Ahilyanagar railway connectivity, renovation of Pune Railway Station, and a new terminal at Uruli Kanchan. Vaishnaw not only provided detailed information on these issues but also discussed the action plan for the future.”
Interestingly, during his speech in the Lok Sabha on Thursday, the Railway Minister announced that the Vande Bharat Metro service, connecting major cities across the country, would commence soon. In line with this, discussions were also held on considering Vande Bharat Metro services from Pune to Nashik, Mumbai, Solapur, and Nagpur,” Mohol added.
