Pune : Activities in Pune and Western Maharashtra by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) are scheduled to culminate in the inauguration of the Ram Mandir in January 2024.

From the VHP organization, Pandurang Raut, Sanjay Murdale, Satish Gorde, and Tushar Kulkarni stated that the first week of January 2024 will be dedicated to Ram Katha week, Bhajan, and Kirtan events. Prior to the inauguration ceremony, temples in Pune and the surrounding areas would be decorated.

The organization added that if people are unable to travel to Ayodhya on the day of the inauguration, they should commemorate the occasion by lighting diyas outside of their residences and temples in the evening.

The VHP is scheduled to conduct the Kalash Yatra in Pune on November 26. The yatra would travel via Faraskhana, Dagdusheth Halwai Ganesh Temple, Rastrabhushan Chowk, and Swargate before finishing at Dadawadi Shwetambar Jain Temple. The yatra would start from Lal Mahal.
