Washington: A big bridge in Baltimore, USA fell down on Tuesday after a ship crashed into it, making parts of it fall into the river below. A video shows a large ship hitting the bridge and causing it to collapse. It seems like cars were on the bridge when it fell. The fire department believes there could be up to 20 people and some vehicles in the water.

The bridge, which is about 1.6 miles long and has four lanes, crosses the Patapsco River in Baltimore. It’s an important road for the city, used by millions of vehicles every year.

The authorities are asking drivers to avoid the bridge because it’s still a dangerous area. Emergency services are working to rescue anyone who might be trapped.

The mayor and other officials are aware of what happened and are trying to help. They’ve asked for prayers for those involved.
