Vidhan Sabha Polls 2024: Distribution Of Voter Slips Begins In Pune Cantonment Constituency
Pune, November 14: Voting for the Maharashtra Assembly General Election is scheduled for November 20. In Pune Cantonment constituency, the election office has initiated the distribution of voter slips through Booth Level Officers (BLOs) to ensure voters have easy access to details of their polling station and serial numbers. This information was shared by the Election Officer Siddharth Bhandare.
Pune Cantonment constituency has a total of 295,382 voters across 274 polling stations, each managed by an assigned BLO. Voter slips are being delivered door-to-door by BLOs at the respective polling stations.
Revenue Assistant S.K. Lipare mentioned that 25 supervisors are overseeing the distribution of these slips by 274 BLOs to prevent last-minute confusion for voters in locating their polling centers and serial numbers. Each slip includes details such as voter information, polling station location, and the date and time of voting.
