Water Supply Disruption In Several Pune Areas On April 24 Due To Urgent Repairs
Pune, April 23, 2025:Â The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has announced a full-day water cut in multiple areas of the city on Thursday, April 24, due to essential structural maintenance and repair work.
According to PMC officials, the disruption is necessary to carry out urgent repairs at the water treatment plant on Pare Company Road and to fix a significant leak in the main pressure water line at Dhayari.
The areas affected by the water cut include Pare Company Road, Ganesh Nagar, Limaye Nagar, Garmala, Gosavi Vasti, Barangani Mala, Dalvi Wadi, Kamble Vasti, Manas Area, Naik Ali, Yashwant Vihar Buster (all lanes), Lane Nos. 10 to 34 (A and B sides), Raykar Nagar, Chavan Bang, and the Trimurti Hospital campus.
PMC’s Chief Engineer of the Water Supply Department, Nandkishore Jagtap, urged residents to cooperate and prepare in advance by storing adequate water and using it judiciously.
He further informed that water supply in these areas may remain low in pressure and could be delayed on Friday, April 25, as the system stabilizes after the repair work.
Residents are advised to plan accordingly to avoid inconvenience during the water cut period.
