Water Supply to Be Disrupted in Several Pune Areas on June 6
Pune, June 3: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has announced a temporary water supply shutdown in several areas under Ward No. 1 on Thursday, June 6, due to urgent repairs and pipeline connection work at the Parvati HLR Chowk mechanical water supply line.
According to the Water Supply Department, maintenance work will be carried out from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on June 6. Consequently, water supply will be completely halted during this period in the affected areas. The department has also cautioned that water pressure may remain low on the morning of Friday, June 7.
Areas to Face Water Disruption:
Taware Colony, Wakadewadi, Nagar, Maynagude, Income Tax Colony, Parvati Industrial Estate, Trimurti Garden, Aranabhag Co-op Housing Society, Gantanagar, Mahatma Society, Shivganga, Dhankawadi, Mahadevnagar, Artinagar, parts of Mukundnagar, Premnagar 1 & 2, HDE Colony, parts of Masulkar Colony, and Tilak Road area.
PMC has urged citizens in the affected areas to store sufficient water in advance and follow municipal guidelines during the shutdown.
