Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation inaugurated Covid-19 Hospital at Autocluster, Chinchwad by Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. At this time, the opposition leader of the Legislative Assembly Devendra Fadnavis, MP Shrirang Barne, MLA Chandrakant Patil, Laxman Jagtap, Mahesh Landge, Sangram Thopte, Anna Bansode, Mayor of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation Usha alias Mai Dhore, Deputy Mayor Tushar Hinge, Chairman of Standing Committee Santosh Londhe, Ruling Party Leader Namdev Dhaka, Opposition leader Vitthal Kate, Divisional Commissioner Saurabh Rao, Pune Metropolitan Regional Development Authority Suhas Divase, District Collector Dr. Rajesh Deshmukh, Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Commissioner Shravan Hardikar, Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Upper Police Commissioner Ramnath Pokle, Deputy Commissioner of Police Sudhir Hiremath, Additional Commissioner of Pimpri-Chinchwad Santosh Patil, Ajit Pawar, Pravin Tupe along with former Mayor, Corporator and senior officers of the concerned department , doctors, staff were present.

Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar said, I congratulate Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation for building a Covid Hospital by spending himself. Pimpri-Chinchwad is the city of hardworking people. Citizens of different castes and religions live in this city. As the population is high, citizens should get treatment in less time, less cost during the Corona period, and there will be no shortage of beds anywhere, it should be taken care of. The administration has a steady eye on private hospitals that are charging extra payments for treatment on patients during the Corona crisis. For this reason, squads are being prepared in rural areas along with the city and audit of the payment is being done. Because of this, an effort is being made to give relief to the citizens through this medium. India’s first human test of vaccine against Corona has been conducted at Bharati Hospital with the help of Serum Institute. Research is underway to create vaccine to control the corona virus, this is definitely a hopeful matter.

Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar wished the citizens on the occasion of Ganesh Festival. Citizens appealed to celebrate this year’s Ganeshotsav in a simple way, keeping social distancing, using regular masks. Police, doctors, administration, service organizations and their workers are doing a very good job by risking their lives during the Corona crisis. If the country and state are free from Corona, the citizens who died in this fight will be a true tribute to them.

Opposition leader Devendra Fadnavis said, Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation is satisfied with the building of Covid-19 hospital at Auto Cluster, Chinchwad. Citizens without symptoms should be merged with home or institutional by increasing the corona tests to a large scale. This can bring control over the corona virus. Fighting the battle together with the help of citizens will definitely be successful in preventing the spread of corona virus.

* Covid-19 Hospital Autocluster, Chinchwad *

  1. Autocluster, Chinchwad Covid-19 hospital has been constructed by Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation.
  2. There are a total of 200 beds of Covid-19 hospitals which contain 50 ICU and 150 oxygen beds available.
  3. Latest equipment and facilities related to Covid-19 are available.
  4. 1 thousand 50 square meter ICU has been air conditioned with negative pressure system.
  5. The total area of the hospital is 3 thousand 400 square meters.
  6. Hospital work started on 7 August 2020
  7. This hospital has excellent medical services for Covid-19 patients with the latest equipment as well as dialysis and (Respiratory) ventilator and other essential facilities available for 24 hours.
