Maharashtra: Maharashtra is facing an intensified cold wave, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issuing an alert for the next 24 hours. Cold northerly winds are expected to push down minimum temperatures across the state, increasing cold conditions and posing challenges for residents, farmers, and travelers.

According to the IMD forecast for December 30, Maharashtra will experience predominantly dry and cold weather, with no rainfall expected in most regions. Morning fog may occur in some areas, but skies are likely to remain mostly clear throughout the day.

Konkan Region:
The Konkan belt will witness dry and mild weather. In Mumbai, maximum temperatures are expected to range between 31–32°C, while minimum temperatures may hover around 18–20°C. Light morning fog is possible, followed by sunny conditions during the day. Due to high coastal humidity, a chill may be felt during the night.
