Weather Update : 144 trains cancelled due to Michaung cyclone along Andhra coast

A total of 144 trains, which were originally planned to run from December 2 to December 8, 2023, have been cancelled due to the cyclone Michaung that is expected to impact the coastal region of Andhra Pradesh.

As per the information provided, the railway officials have made a request to spread the information regarding the regulation of coaching trains and bulk SMS alerts through various mediums such as ICMS, Passenger Information System, IVRS, All India Network (139), newspapers, AIR, TV, and bold manuscript notices at prominent locations.

As per the information received, the passengers of the affected trains will receive SMS notifications on their mobile phones, and frequent announcements will be made through PA systems at stations for their convenience.
