Reports suggest various conditions across different regions. In Delhi NCR, Skymet predicts that Holi will be “dry and hot.” There’s no expectation of rainfall, defying the usual belief of some showers on Holi. 

However, some light rainfall is anticipated in the late hours of March 27 and the early hours of March 28. On March 26, the day after Holi, the weather is expected to be dry and hot.

For Kolkata, the forecast indicates cloudy weather with a maximum temperature of 32 degrees Celsius during Holi celebrations.

In Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Meghalaya, isolated heavy rainfall is likely on March 25 and 26. Additionally, there may be isolated to scattered rainfall with thunderstorms and lightning over Uttarakhand, Bihar, Punjab, Haryana, and north Rajasthan.

The nationwide forecast indicates a cyclonic circulation over northeast Assam, leading to fairly widespread to widespread light to moderate rainfall across Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura from March 24-26. Isolated heavy rainfall is expected in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Meghalaya on March 25 and 26, as well as in Sikkim on March 23. Bihar may experience isolated to scattered light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms and lightning on March 24.

Moreover, heat wave conditions are expected in isolated pockets over Saurashtra and Kutch during March 24-26. Maximum temperatures are forecasted to rise over East India, Central India, and Northwest India over the next few days. 

Additionally, hot and humid conditions are anticipated in Rayalaseema, Kerala, Mahe, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal. Heat wave conditions may occur in isolated pockets over Saurashtra and Kutch during March 24-26.
