Pune has seen a decline in both minimum and maximum temperatures over the past few days. On Tuesday, Shivaji Nagar recorded a maximum temperature of 29.6 degrees Celsius and the lowest temperature of 16.5 degrees Celsius. There has been a slight chill in the city over the past 48 hours due to a 1-2 degrees Celsius drop in temperature.
As per further information, Maharashtra is currently experiencing cool winds from northern states, especially in the Konkan and Central Maharashtra regions where there is a lot of clear sky. The past two days have seen clear skies in Pune as well, and the city’s weather is beginning to be affected by cool winds.
An Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) official, requesting anonymity, said that cool weather is predicted to remain until December 8. As a result, the city is now gradually feeling cold with a drop in temperature of 1-2 degrees after a long break of cold weather of about half a month.
The Marathwada and Vidarbha regions are expected to experience cloudy weather for the next 24 hours due to Cyclone Michaung’s influence. Additionally, there’s a chance of light to moderate rainfall in some places during this time. But, on December 7, there will be clear skies throughout the entire state, according to the IMD official.
