Sonakshi Sinha is getting ready to start a new chapter in her life shortly, as she gets ready to tie the knot with her longtime partner Zaheer Iqbal on 23rd June in Mumbai. As reported by India Today, the invitation has a playful text that reads, “The rumours are true.” Guests are asked to dress formally for the wedding celebration, which will take place at Bastian in Mumbai.
Although the couple, who have been dating for some time, have kept their romance quiet, their public appearances and loving social media messages have shown how close they are. The media has been abuzz over the couple’s wedding plans, and rumours have it that the whole Heeramandi cast has been invited to the event.
On the other hand, Sonakshi and Zaheer’s anticipated ceremony has not yet received official confirmation. Zaheer shared amusing and lovely photos of Sonakshi and himself on her 37th birthday. On Sonakshi’s birthday last year, Zaheer shared a series of adorable photos from their shoots and excursions.

The rumours of Sonakshi’s impending marriage gained momentum after her recent performance on The Great Indian Kapil Show. Host Kapil Sharma made fun of Sonakshi’s coworkers’ marriages during the show, which made her jokingly declare how excited she was to get married.
On the work front, Sonakshi was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s debut web series Heeramandi alongside Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Sharmin Segal Mehta and Taha Shah Badussha. On 1st May, 2024, the series was made available on Netflix, to acclaim from critics. It was given a second season renewal a month later.
