Work for beautification of road divider begins

The unclean and incomplete divider work from Park Royal society to Kokane chowk was full of overgrown grass, debris and waste lying neglected. The filthy looking divider was ruining it’s beauty. It had become a shelter for stray dogs and animals too.

Last month Pune Pulse had highlighted the issue with the concern officers and corporators. After consistent follow up with the authorities, the road divider was cleaned and work for beautifying it shall begin soon.

While speaking with Pune Pulse the garden department official from PCMC Gorakh Gosavi said, “We are now cleaning the divider and removed the overgrown grass and debris laying on it. Within next week we will clean the divider and plant saplings in it.”
