Work of laying drainage pipeline in Rahatani begins; Success to Shatrughan Kate’s relentless efforts

On 14/2/2024, the long pending drainage pipeline work has started at Ganraj Colony in Rahatani area with the constant follow up of Former Corporator Shatrughan Kate.

For the past many years, the citizens of Ganraj Colony of Rahatani were facing the problem of drainage. The citizens of the area were suffering due to the continuous blockage of the drainage line and the problem of the health of the citizens was created due to the pollution caused by this.

After the matter came to the attention of the former corporator Shatrughan Kate, he immediately informed the concerned Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation’s (PCMC) drainage department and due to the increasing population, there is additional stress on the available drainage pipeline and considering the future growth, the existing drainage line should be replaced and a new 300 mm diameter pipeline should be laid there.

Taking note of the suggestions given by the former corporator Shatrughan Kate, the work of laying a new 300 mm drainage pipeline has been started at Ganaraj Colony through the PCMC.

The residents of Ganaraj Colony have expressed their satisfaction that the former corporator Shatrughan Kate has sorted out their issue with priority.
