Xiaomi to launch Redmi 13C 5G today ; Read to know more

Pune: The Redmi 13C 5G by Xiaomi is scheduled to make its debut in India on December 6, 2023. It is anticipated that this smartphone will offer 5G capabilities at an affordable price, likely falling below Rs 15,000.

Additionally, a more budget-friendly 4G variant will also be released on the same day. The Redmi 13C 5G will be available in three colour options: black, silver, and green. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100 Plus processor, it will feature a single 50-megapixel camera on its rear side. 

Xiaomi has introduced the Redmi 12 5G, a competitive 5G smartphone priced at Rs 11,999. It remains unclear how Xiaomi plans to maintain order in its product lineup. Additionally, the Poco M6 Pro 5G is essentially the same phone as the Redmi 12 5G, available at a similar price point. For those seeking budget-friendly 5G options, the Realme 11X 5G and Realme Narzo 60X 5G are worth considering, as they both utilize the powerful Dimensity 6100 Plus chip. Samsung’s Galaxy M14 5G is also a noteworthy contender in the 5G market.

1. Redmi 12 5G: The Redmi 12 5G is available in three variants – 4GB/128GB, 6GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB – priced at Rs 11,999, Rs 13,499, and Rs 15,499, respectively. This phone features a 6.79-inch LCD display with a 1080p resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It also includes a hole punch cut-out at the centre and Corning Gorilla Glass for protection, although the specific version is not mentioned. This phone features a 6.72-inch LCD display with a 1080p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It also has a hole punch cut-out at the centre of the screen. Under the hood, it is equipped with the Dimensity 6100 Plus processor and a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. In terms of photography, it boasts a 64 MP main camera on the back and an 8MP selfie shooter.
