100 NCC cadets and 14 trainers to secure PCMC’s vaccination centers

Over 100 National Cadet Corps cadets and 14 trainers from the NCC Group Headquarters Pune will now help by providing security to the vaccination centers run by Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation. The information was shared by chief security officer of PCMC, Major Uday Jarande. The help of cadets shall be taken to ensure that vaccination at these centers is a smooth process. 

A joint discussion was held between NCC Group Headquarters and PCMC. The initiative was taken by Commissioner Rajesh Patil, additional commissioner Vikas Dhakne, Brigadier Sunil Limaye, Colonel Vinayak Chavan. This is for the first time that NCC cadets would provide security to any vaccination center. Major Uday Jarande, PCMC’s chief security officer has been appointed as coordinating officer. 

PCMC has provided bus facilities to these cadets to the vaccination centers.
