1,1153,703 MSEDCL consumers opt for e-bills
Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Private Limited offers electronic payment facility for its consumers to pay their monthly bills. Till date, over 1 crore 11 lakh 53 thousand 703 consumers have registered themselves for e-bill facility wherein the consumers get an electronic copy of the bill instead of a printed one. Also, when a consumer opts for this service he also gets 0.25 percent discount on the bill.
The Konkan division of MSEDCL ranks top in e-payment facility where 49 lakh 21 thousand 693 consumers have paid over Rs 1001 crore 12 lakh, while Pune division ranks second where 33 lakhs 75 thousand 471 consumers have paid Rs 751 crore 85 lakh and Nagpur Division has emerged third with 19 lakh 33 thousand 256 consumers have paid Rs 299 crores 15 lakh.
Consumers can pay their bills through MSEDCL app or website.
