Central railway asks passengers to reach early

On the lines of airport, central railways have also issued advisory for passengers to reach early at the railway station as traffic jams are caused on the roads leading to the station when every passenger rushes to get to the station just on time.

Manoj Jhawar, Pune railway division spokesperson, said, “The traffic congestion has become a major issue in Pune city which has also impacted train operations, particularly in the evenings. Hence, our appeal to the passengers is to calculate the time and distance to reach Pune railway station from their respective destination and reach at least an hour before the train departure timing.”

Pune airport authorities have also advised flyers to reach the airport three hours before the scheduled departure.
