2000 cyclists participate in PCMC’s cyclothon

Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation and Smart City jointly held a cyclothon to spread the importance of environment conservation and message of Swachhagraha. The cyclothon was held on February 27, 2022 which started from Nashik Phata to BRTS Road’s Kalpataru society. The cycle rally was flagged off by MLA Chinchwad Constituency Laxman Jagtap, PCMC Mayor Usha Dhore, Namdev Dhake, biodiversity and management committee president Usha Mundhe, additional commissioner Vikas Dhakne, Shrikant Savane, city engineer, assistant commissioner Sushma Shinde, executive engineer Bapu Gaikwad, Pramod OMbhase, Kiran Gaikwad, public relations officer, sports officer Anita Kedari and many others.

The cycle rally started from Nashik Phata – Pimple Gurav bridge – Wakad Mumbai Bengaluru highway under bridge – Kalpataru society – Nashik Phata – Pimple Gurav. The cycle rally was supported by members of Indo Athletics Society, Nigdi, Eco peddlar Chinchwad, Pimpri Chinchwad Cycling Association, Vrukshavalli Sanstha, various NGO’s Avirat Shramdan Sanstha, PCMC Cycle Club, Bhramanti Cycle Group, ITDP Sanstha, Cycle Premi Sanstha and other NGO’s.
