On 13th january, 2024, Savitribai Phule Pune University will be having an exhibition of the artwork of Illustrators from across the country, who are members of the Indian Illustrators Group (IIG). There are 22 illustrators participating in the event. 

The exhibition will be opened by Dr. Suresh Gosavi, Vice Chancellor SPPU. The Indian Illustrators Group (IIG) was recently created by cartoonist & illustrator Suraj Eskay Sriram and currently has around 50 members from around the country. 

IIG is affiliated with the Museum of Cartoon Art. This event has been organized by Dr.

Madhavi Reddy, HOD, Department of Media and Communication Studies and Dr. Priya Gohad, Curator, Museum of Cartoon Art.

The exhibition is being held in the Main Building of the University and will be open from 11am to 2pm.
