25 illegal firecracker stalls on Pune-Saswad road removed by PMC; Know More - Pune Pulse

Pune: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has taken action by completely removing illegal firecracker stalls near Bhekrai Nagar Bus Depot on Pune-Saswad Road on October 31 (Tuesday).
As per further information shared by Dhammanand Gaikwad, Encroachment Inspector, PMC Hadapsar-Mundhwa Ward Office, PMC has no policy to issue firecrackers sale permit on-road footpaths, therefore any person should not put up firecrackers sale stalls on road footpaths without authorization otherwise strict action will be taken against such traders.
In this operation, 25 illegal firecracker stalls have been removed. Following number of persons & tools were used for the operation:
· Labour Workers – 15
· Trucks – 2
· Maharashtra Security Force (M.S.F.) Jawans – 10
· Attending Officers on the spot – PMC Zonal Encroachment Inspector (Circle No 4) Subhash Talekar, Chief Encroachment Inspector (Hadapsar Area) Dhammanand Gaikwad, Assistant Encroachment Inspectors Dipali Bhalchim (Ward No 23), Rahul Bokan (Ward No 26)
