30,14,560 MSEDCL consumers in Pune register online
A drive initiated by Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) to help people convey information on their phone has received a massive response from the citizens as many as 30, 14, 560 consumers have registered their contact numbers with the MSEDCL Customer care and relations department, to receive details about the electricity bill, supply and other important area updates.
The MSEDCL has urged consumers to register their respective contact numbers as it will help them know power cut off status, electricity consumption, and the bill details. It is proving to be crucial for the citizens to know the power supply/cut details as still 60 – 70 % of people work from home.
MSEDCL has urged the citizens to registered their contact numbers through just one SMS. To register the contact number, citizens may have to send a message “MREG(space) (Twelve number digit contact number)” and send it on 9930399303.
