44th Fruit, Flower and Vegetable Exhibition Opens with Grandeur at Chhatrapati Sambhajiraje Garden in Pune
Pune: PMC To Host 44th Fruits, Flowers & Vegetable Exhibition On February 14–15, 2026 At Sambhaji Garden
Pune | February 14, 2026:
The 44th Fruit, Flower and Vegetable Exhibition, along with the Garden and Tree Conservation Competition, organised by the Garden Department and Tree Authority of the Pune Municipal Corporation, was inaugurated with great enthusiasm at the Chhatrapati Sambhajiraje Garden on J M road.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Deputy Mayor Parshuram Wadekar, House Leader Ganesh Bidkar, Group Leader Sopan (Kaka) Chavan, Member Sneha Malwade, and Municipal Commissioner Naval Kishore Ram, who jointly inaugurated the exhibition.
The exhibition will remain open to the public free of cost on February 14 and 15, 2026. Visitors can experience a wide range of attractions including artistic floral arrangements, bonsai displays, theme gardens, eco-friendly installations, and environmental art creations.
Senior civic officials including Additional Municipal Commissioners Prithviraj B.P. (Estate) and Omprakash Divte (Special), the Garden Superintendent, along with officers and staff of the Garden Department, were present in large numbers at the event.
The exhibition features 266 diverse categories, showcasing flowers, fruits, vegetables, medicinal plants, floral designs, and environmental displays, which have become a major centre of attraction for citizens.
Citizens have been appealed to visit the exhibition with their families and experience the importance of nature, environmental conservation, and garden preservation.
