6 child friendly police stations inaugurated in Pune Police’s Zone 3
November 20 is celebrated as the World Children’s Rights day across the world. On this occassion, Pune City Police held inauguration of six Child Friendly Police stations under Zone 3, Sinhagad Police station, Dattawadi police station, Alankar police station, Kothrud police station, Warje Malwadi police station and Uttam Nagar police station. Bal Snehi Section (child friendly section) was inaugurated at all these police stations.
Pune Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta inaugurated Child Friendly section at Sinhagad police station. The inaugural ceremony saw presence of Caroline Walter, founder, Hope for The Children Foundation, Pune Police Psychology Wellbeing Group’s Gayatri Kotbagi, film actor Parna Pethe, Lions CLub of Pune’s Abhay Joshi, Rupa Kapoor and Police officials and staff were present.
