7 New OTT Releases Premiering June 27 – From Squid Game 3 to Ram Kapoor’s Mistry and a High-Rise Hostage Thriller

It’s time for your weekly update of the latest OTT releases. Here’s the List:

1. Mistry (JioHotstar)

A desi take on the popular American series Monk, this crime-comedy drama follows Armaan Mistry (Ram Kapoor), a brilliant ex-cop battling OCD, who solves Mumbai’s most baffling cases with his unorthodox methods. Aided by the practical ACP Sehmat Siddiqui (Mona Singh), the series blends suspense, emotional depth, and quirky humour, with Shikha Talsania also in a key role.

2. Squid Game – Season 3 

The final chapter of the Korean global phenomenon returns. Seong Gi Hun (Lee Jung Jae) re-enters the deadly games in search of redemption after a failed rebellion. Expect high-stakes survival, emotional reckonings, and explosive conclusions.

3. Smoke (Apple TV+)

Starring Taron Egerton and Jurnee Smollett, Smoke is a crime thriller inspired by the Firebug podcast. It follows an arson investigator teaming up with a reluctant detective to hunt down serial fire-starters — only to realise the game is far more personal and dangerous than they thought.

4. Viraatapalem: PC Meena Reporting (ZEE5)

A supernatural mystery set in a cursed village, this thriller follows police officer Meena as she investigates a series of mysterious deaths among young brides. With a haunting backdrop and deep suspense, it promises to be an eerie watch.

5. Cleaner (Lionsgate Play)

In this high-rise action thriller, a war veteran-turned-window cleaner (played by Daisy Ridley) springs into action when 300 hostages are taken during an energy company’s gala. Directed by Martin Campbell, the film also stars Clive Owen and Taz Skylar.

6. Raid 2 (Netflix)

Ajay Devgn reprises his role as IRS officer Amay Patnaik in this sequel set in Bhoj, Rajasthan. This time, Patnaik takes on a powerful politician’s black money empire in a meticulously planned and daring raid. Also starring Vaani Kapoor, Supriya Pathak, Rajat Kapoor, and Saurabh Shukla.

7. Bibhishon (ZEE5)

A Bengali psychological thriller that explores the dark side of a peaceful town. When a mutilated corpse is discovered in Bolagarh, police officer Bibhishon (Soham Majumder) leads the chilling investigation, uncovering secrets that lie beneath the calm surface.
