Ajit Pawar, Naresh Arora Reconnect Ahead Of Local Polls — 'Pink Jacket' Campaign Team May Return
Mumbai, June 25, 2025 — After the resounding success of the ‘Pink Jacket’ campaign during the Maharashtra Assembly elections, the Nationalist Congress Party (Ajit Pawar faction) appears to be considering a repeat of the same strategy for the upcoming local body elections.
Speculation is rife after renowned political strategist Naresh Arora, the head of event management firm DesignBox, was spotted meeting Deputy Chief Minister and NCP leader Ajit Pawar at the Sahyadri Guest House in Mumbai.
During the previous elections, Arora had played a key role in styling the NCP’s entire campaign—vehicles, rallies, and posters—in a striking pink theme, which drew significant public attention and media coverage.
Arora had become the center of political discussion after a viral photo showed him with his arm around Ajit Pawar’s shoulder post-election, leading to some friction within party circles. Reports later suggested that Arora was kept at a distance from the party due to internal dynamics.
However, with the local elections approaching, buzz has returned that Ajit Pawar may once again enlist Arora and DesignBox to lead a high-voltage campaign. While no official confirmation has been made, the renewed contact between the two has certainly stirred curiosity in Maharashtra’s political circles.
