84 Students from Pimpri-Chinchwad’s Indira College Stranded in Dubai Amid Iran Conflict
Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune: As tensions escalate following the reported conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran, its impact is now being felt by Indian nationals abroad. After Iran allegedly launched a missile attack on Dubai, 84 Indian students have been stranded in the city.
All the affected students are from Indira College in Pimpri-Chinchwad. They had travelled to Dubai for academic purposes but are currently unable to return due to the emerging security situation.
Dr. Janardan Pawar, Dean of Indira College, confirmed that all 84 students are safe. He said the college administration is in constant touch with the students as well as their parents to monitor the situation closely.
“We are in regular contact with the students and their families. Efforts are underway to bring them back safely. We are coordinating with the Indian Embassy in Dubai and are also in discussions with the Ministry of External Affairs,” Dr. Pawar stated.
Parents in Pimpri-Chinchwad have expressed concern, but the college has assured them that the students are secure and that every possible step is being taken to ensure their safe return to India.
Further updates are awaited as diplomatic efforts continue.
