Pimple Nilakh residents pledge support to Shankar Jagtap for continued development
Chinchwad – During the tenure of the late MLA Lakshman Bhau Jagtap, a distinctive development pattern transformed the Pimple Nilakh, Wakad, and Chinchwad Assembly Constituency. Utilizing MLA funds, Lakshman Bhau implemented multimillion-rupee projects that reshaped these areas. Residents of Pimple Nilakh and Wakad have now expressed their full support for Mahayuti candidate Shankar Jagtap, his brother, who shares his visionary approach to progress. The community has pledged thousands of votes to ensure that the development initiated by Lakshman Bhau continues uninterrupted.
In support of Shankar Jagtap, the candidate representing the BJP-Shiv Sena-NCP-Republican Party of India (Athawale) alliance, an enthusiastic foot march took place in Pimple Nilakh. Thousands of residents, including women and youth, joined the rally with lively drumbeats and fireworks. Women from the community performed traditional rituals and showered Jagtap with flowers along the route.
Community leaders and former officials such as Sachin Sathe, Mamta Gaikwad, Aarti Choundhe, and Vinayak Gaikwad, along with hundreds of local supporters, attended the rally in large numbers.
Development Works and Community Projects
During Lakshman Bhau’s tenure, extensive development projects funded by the MLA budget brought improvements to Pimple Nilakh, particularly in Venunagar and Mankar Chowk. These include:
Establishing the Tapovan Buddhist Vihar in Venunagar and placing paver blocks in various society areas at Kalewadi Phata.
Installing open gyms in public spaces at Vishal Nagar, Sharda Colony, and NSG Royal One.
Beautification and installation of traffic islands in Mankar Chowk.
Adding water pipelines, solar street lights, and paving roads in multiple societies, and constructing a shed at the Kaspatte Vasti crematorium.
Providing books, cupboards, tables, and chairs to the competitive exam guidance center at Vidyaniketan Primary School in Vishal Nagar, with over two crores spent on these projects.
“I am committed to advancing the momentum of these developments and look forward to the continued support from all residents of Pimple Nilakh and Wakad,” stated Shankar Jagtap.
