Fadnavis Assures Resolution of Red Zone Issues and Highlights Maharashtra’s Industrial Growth
Pimpri-Chinchwad- Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis addressed several critical issues facing Pimpri-Chinchwad, including the complex concerns surrounding property taxes and the 12.5% compensation. He assured citizens that these matters have been successfully resolved and added that pending challenges like construction in red zones and blue flood lines will also be tackled in due course.
Speaking at an election rally for Mahesh Landge, the official candidate of the BJP-led alliance from Bhosari Assembly constituency, Fadnavis said, “Do not worry; MLA Mahesh Landge has taken the issue of constructions in red and blue zones a long way forward, and solutions are imminent.”
Fadnavis accused NCP leaders Sharad Pawar and Supriya Sule of spreading misinformation about industries migrating from Maharashtra to Gujarat. “They run a ‘fake narrative factory’ to malign the state government. The claims about industries leaving Maharashtra are baseless,” he said.
Refuting allegations that 36 companies from Hinjewadi had shifted operations, Fadnavis clarified, “During the Maha Vikas Aghadi government, 19 companies established new campuses in Maharashtra and expanded their operations, but they did not relocate outside the state.”
Infrastructure Achievements Praised
Fadnavis praised Mahesh Landge’s developmental work in Bhosari over the last decade, dismissing opposition allegations. Quoting a popular saying, he remarked, “The elephant marches on while dogs bark.” He emphasized that significant changes in Pimpri-Chinchwad, including metro projects, flyovers, and improved infrastructure, have been achieved post-2014.
Industrial Growth in Maharashtra
The Deputy CM highlighted Maharashtra’s dominance in domestic and foreign investments, stating, “From 2014 to 2019, Maharashtra topped in foreign investments. Even today, the state accounts for 52% of domestic investments, higher than Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh combined.”
Fadnavis further announced that Microsoft’s new unit in Maharashtra would create 50,000 job opportunities. He also reassured the resolution of long-pending civic issues in Pimpri-Chinchwad during the upcoming winter session.
Concluding the rally, Fadnavis urged voters to elect Mahesh Landge with a decisive mandate to ensure that the BJP-led alliance returns to power and continues addressing key issues in Pimpri-Chinchwad.
“This is a battle of faith. Stand united and ensure Mahesh Landge’s victory. Only a united government can resolve all remaining issues in Pimpri-Chinchwad.” – Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister, Maharashtra
“Despite facing baseless allegations, I have followed Fadnavis’s example of focusing on work instead of retaliation. I will continue serving the people of Bhosari with dedication.” – Mahesh Landge, BJP candidate, Bhosari Assembly
