Virat Kohli is set to relocate to London with family, as confirmed by his former coach.

Virat Kohli is anticipated to move to London with his wife, Anushka Sharma, and their children, Vamika and Akaay, as confirmed by Rajkumar Sharma, Virat’s childhood coach.

Rajkumar Sharma, who coached Virat Kohli during his formative years, has announced that Kohli, along with his wife Anushka Sharma and their children Vamika and Akaay, will be relocating to London shortly.

“Yes, Virat plans to move to London with his children and wife, Anushka Sharma. He is going to be leaving India and shifting very soon. However, right now, Kohli is spending most of his time with his family apart from cricket,” says Sharma.

Kohli and his family spent a significant amount of time in London this year. Following the birth of his son, Kohli made his way back after India clinched the T20 World Cup in June. He did come back for the ODI series against Sri Lanka in July, but soon flew back to the UK, where he remained until August. He returned to India just in time for the beginning of their home season.

While Sharma refrained from providing extensive details, he suggested that Kohli is preparing to leave India and establish a new home in the UK, where he intends to settle down after his cricketing career.

Following Ravichandran Ashwin’s retirement, attention has turned to Virat Kohli and fellow veteran Rohit Sharma, both of whom are in their mid-30s. There has been considerable speculation regarding Kohli’s ability to continue until the next ODI World Cup in 2027.

However, Sharma has expressed strong confidence that Kohli is far from retirement and is expected to play for another five years, positioning him to participate in the upcoming World Cup in South Africa.

“Virat is playing the best cricket of his career. He scored a century in the first Test against Australia. I believe in the upcoming two Tests, he is going to score two more centuries. He has always enjoyed his cricket. His form is not a matter of concern. He knows how to perform in difficult situations and help his side win the match,” added Sharma.

Kohli, originally from Delhi, relocated to Mumbai a few years back. He married Anushka in December 2017 in Italy.
