Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir Trust Receives Threat Email; Police Launch Investigation, Security Tightened
The Ram Mandir Trust in Ayodhya has revised the darshan timings for Lord Ram Lalla, reducing the available hours for worship. The schedule, which was previously extended for the Prayagraj Maha Kumbh, has now returned to its original format, with breaks for aartis and bhog offerings.
New Darshan Schedule
According to Dr. Anil Mishra, a member of the Ram Mandir Trust, the temple will now follow a structured timetable for darshan and rituals.
Mangala Aarti & Morning Darshan
- Temple Opens: 4:00 AM
- Mangala Aarti: 4:00 AM – 4:15 AM
- Darshan Closed: 4:15 AM – 6:00 AM
- Shringar Aarti: 6:00 AM
- Darshan Open: 6:30 AM – 11:50 AM
- Darshan Closed for Rituals: 11:50 AM – 12:00 PM
Afternoon Bhog & Darshan
- Bhog Aarti & Rajbhog Offering: 12:00 PM – 12:30 PM
- Temple Closed: 12:30 PM – 1:00 PM
- Darshan Open: 1:00 PM – 6:50 PM
- Darshan Closed: 6:50 PM – 7:00 PM
Evening Sandhya Aarti & Night Darshan
- Sandhya Aarti: 7:00 PM – 9:30 PM
- Entry through Gate D-1 Closes: 9:30 PM
- Darshan Open: Until 9:45 PM
- Temple Closed: 9:45 PM – 10:00 PM
Final Shayan Aarti & Closing
- Shayan Aarti: 10:00 PM – 10:15 PM
- Temple Closes for the Night: 10:15 PM
The temple trust initially extended darshan hours to 19 hours a day (6 AM – 11 PM) to accommodate the Maha Kumbh pilgrims. However, with the event now concluded, the revised timings allow for the uninterrupted performance of temple rituals while ensuring efficient crowd management.
As Ayodhya continues to grow as a major spiritual and religious tourism hub, the Ram Mandir remains a key destination, drawing thousands of devotees daily. Visitors are advised to check the updated schedule before planning their visit.
