On the auspicious occasion of Gudi Padwa, Shirdi Airport has officially launched its night landing service, a move expected to boost the number of devotees visiting the holy town. Additionally, this development is set to accelerate industrial growth in Shirdi and its surrounding areas, positively impacting the region’s economy. The introduction of night landing services marks a significant milestone not only for Shirdi but also for Ahilyanagar and neighboring districts.

Under the guidance of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, the process of initiating night landing at Shirdi Airport was set in motion. Necessary approvals for Air Traffic Control (ATC), deployment of CISF personnel, and runway recarpeting were reviewed through an on-site meeting at the airport. Authorities were also directed to ensure timely completion of all essential tasks.

A detailed discussion was held with officials regarding the March 31, 2025 deadline for launching night landing services. However, the service has been successfully inaugurated a day ahead of the planned date.
