The introduction of night landing services marks a significant milestone not only for Shirdi but also for Ahilyanagar and neighboring districts.

Under the guidance of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, the process of initiating night landing at Shirdi Airport was set in motion. Necessary approvals for Air Traffic Control (ATC), deployment of CISF personnel, and runway recarpeting were reviewed through an on-site meeting at the airport. Authorities were also directed to ensure timely completion of all essential tasks.
A detailed discussion was held with officials regarding the March 31, 2025 deadline for launching night landing services. However, the service has been successfully inaugurated a day ahead of the planned date.
The information was shared by Murlidhar Mohol, Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation and Cooperation.
