The instant delivery app expands its partnership with Unicorn to bring Apple’s latest devices directly to customers’ doors within minutes
Blinkit, the instant commerce platform best known for delivering groceries and daily essentials, is now making a bold move into premium tech. Starting September 19, customers in select Indian metros will be able to order the brand-new iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and iPhone Air through the Blinkit app—and receive them in as little as 10 minutes.
The initiative comes as part of Blinkit’s ongoing collaboration with Unicorn Infosolutions, an authorised Apple reseller. This marks the third consecutive year of the partnership, which began with the iPhone 15 launch and gained traction with the iPhone 16 rollout.
For this year’s iPhone 17 launch, Blinkit will make the full lineup—including all new colour variants—available to customers in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, and Bengaluru. The delivery promise mirrors the company’s grocery model: place an order via the Blinkit app, and a courier will deliver the iPhone directly to your doorstep, potentially in under 10 minutes.
While Blinkit has not confirmed final delivery timelines for each order, its past record suggests ultra-fast service. Availability, however, will depend on stock and colour preferences, as the most popular models are expected to sell out quickly.
Alongside speed, Blinkit is also offering flexible purchase options. Customers can avail of bank-backed benefits such as instant cashback and EMI schemes on select credit cards. The company has yet to reveal launch-day discounts, but industry watchers expect competitive offers to match or even outpace those from legacy e-commerce giants like Amazon and Flipkart.
The move highlights a shift in consumer behaviour, where convenience, speed, and instant gratification are now as important as brand loyalty. For Apple enthusiasts, Blinkit’s entry provides a way to skip long queues outside Apple stores or days-long delivery cycles from traditional platforms.
Whether Blinkit can scale this model beyond metros remains to be seen, but for now, the promise of “iPhones in 10 minutes” has set a new benchmark for premium tech delivery in India.
