Pune: Traffic Diversions in Kondhwa on September 21 for Half Marathon 

Pune, September 19: A half marathon will be held in Kondhwa Budruk, Pune, on September 21, and heavy crowds are expected during the event. 

To prevent traffic congestion and maintain law and order, District Collector and District Magistrate Jitendra Dudi has issued orders under Section 115 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, and the Home Department notification dated May 19, 1990.

According to the order, on September 21, from 4 a.m. to 9 a.m., traffic on NH-65 and NH-965 via Dive Ghat towards Saswad will remain closed and will be diverted to alternate routes.

• Heavy and large vehicles will be diverted through Saswad – Dive Ghat – Mantarwadi Chowk.
• Light four-wheeler vehicles will be diverted through Saswad – Chambli – Garade – Mari Aai Ghat – Khed Shivapur route.

For travel convenience, commuters are advised to use the following alternate routes:

• Saswad – Dive Ghat – Mantarwadi
• Saswad – Chambli – Garade – Mari Aai Ghat – Khed Shivapur – Katraj Ghat (for light vehicles).
