Pune: 27 Year Old Dies After Being Hit By Speeding Car In Mohammadwadi
Pune, October 21, 2025: A tragic road accident occurred early Tuesday morning near Raheja Vista Society, Mohammadwadi, Pune, resulting in the death of a 27-year-old delivery boy.
According to Kalepadal Police, the incident took place around 6:30 am when the accused, identified as Amaan Sameer Maniyar (21), a resident of Handewadi, Pune, was driving a Fiat Punto car at high speed and in a rash manner, allegedly ignoring traffic rules. The vehicle rammed into the electric scooter driven by the victim Sunny Ambadas Misal (27) from behind, causing a fatal crash.
The deceased, Sunny Misal, was employed as a supervisor and resided on Tadiwala Road, Pune. His brother, Babu Ambadas Misal (29), who works as a delivery boy, filed the complaint at the Kalepadal Police Station.
Police have registered a case under Sections 106, 281, 125(a), 125(b), 324(4) of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS) 2023, along with Section 184 of the Motor Vehicles Act, for reckless and negligent driving leading to death.
The investigation is being handled by Sub-Inspector Ratnadeep Gaikwad under guidance of Mansing Patil, Senior PI of Kalepadal Police Station.
