The road going towards Masal hospital and Mahatma Jyotiba Phule highschool has remained inaccessible for the locals as well as patients, for the past few days.

Undri-based social activist and BJP sympathiser Rajendra Bhintade from Bharatiya Janata party said that Pune Municipal Corporation must take necessary steps to resolve the issue at the earliest. “When I got to know about the choked up street I went to help the students of the school to return to main road safely,” he said.

When Pune Pulse spoke to the area conference areas road engineer, he said, “The work has been assigned to the concerned team to remove the water. Machineries have been demanded to make way for water to flow out of the street using a JCB, jetting machine and other workforce. We hope to resolve the issue at the earliest.”
